"The gospel of John seems to confuse hords of people which is what it's set up to do."
And the Bible clearly states that GOD IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION so, the Gospel of John can't possibly be God's Word, unless it's been TAMPERED WITH by man.
"John 1:1 can be understood if understanding is taken from rev 3:13-end."
First of all, John 1:1 is NOT THE WORDS OF JESUS and we CAN'T put a claim on a man more than he made himself. Did Jesus ever say "I am God" or "Worship me"? No, never!
As for Revelations: That was a dream. A dream written by a man, who eats too much before going to bed, has this type of experience.
Listen to what Jesus says: "I can of my own self DO NOTHING."--in my power I am NOT LIKE GOD. He admitted that even he didn't know the hour of the Day of Judgement...in his knowledge he was not like God. "Any man born of a woman is unclean." If Jesus was God, how could God possibly be unclean? Mary was made impure for 40 days. God, making her impure? Make no mistake about it: God is clear in Job saying how the moon and stars are nothing in His sight, how much less is man and specifically mentions THE SON OF MAN who is nothing but a WORM. Jesus is refered to as Son of Man 83 times!!! He is telling us: this "son" of Mineis NO EXCEPTION--he is a man! God was using Jesus to spread the message of Islam, just as did all the other Prophets, that there is only One God.
