: : could you please send me a complete description of what the old apostolic church is all about, i hav got a friend that is one and i would like to learn more

Dear Ryno

In short, I would like to explain to you in as much detail as I can, unfortunately some people may not find the description satisfying enough
to understand exactly what I am about to say to you, but please feel free to furnish me with further questions if you like.

The history of the Old apostolic church dates back to the time of the disciples of Christ whom He ordained as Apostles. This is a very long description
if one goes in to the detail of events and very lengthy explanation.Should I make any mistake in the references I give, please excuse me as to I do not
have my bible with me at this point in time.

We believe in everything's as it has been written in the scriptures and we use the Old King James version as to this is the closest translation to the Hebrew
version the bible was written in. The reason for not using a new version of the bible is because of what is written in Revelations 22, please feel free to read it.

We believe that God is spirit, or shall I rather say we know that he is not anything else and therefore we serve him in spirit. We believe that we are the members of the
body of Christ as it is written in 1 Corinthians 12 from versus 27 to 28.This was also made known to the deciples(Apostles) in a parable Jesus opened for them which is written
in John 15.We believe that God is no where else to be found than within man because it is written so throughout the scriptures. An example of this is the Kingdom of God. In Luke 17:20-22
Jesus says unto the Pharisee's and Disciples that the kingdom of God is within you..., Romans 14: 17 shows us that the Kingdom of God is peace, happiness and righteousness within the Holy
Ghost, which is to be found in man...A logical explanation to this is to ask yourself..."Where does the king of London live?" In Australia? Surely not he would be living in London.
Jesus tells us that the kingdom of God is within us, so where would God be? Only in us.

An example of how to see that something written in the scriptures are hidden, which has a different meaning to it than what it seems when reading it as it stands would be the creation
in Genesis 1.The first day God created Light, only on the fourth day He created the sun and the moon and the stars... What light did he create on the first day?
Take in to consideration that according to genesis 1 & 2 Adam and Eve was the first people to be created, but why do we read in Genesis 6 that the sons of Adam and Eve went out in to the world and saw that the woman of the world were beautiful and took for them as wife's these woman?
Something else to think about is, why did God create Adam twice according to 1 Corinthians 15?

Now think about this... Scientists have proven the earth to of existed for millions of years, however the scriptures only dates back +-6000 years...Could it really be that the creation as described in Genesis 1 & 2 could be the creation of this natural earth under your feet and in front of you?
Something else to think about with this is that Moses wrote the first 5 books of the scriptures...How could he of described all of this in depth?

I'll be waiting to hear from you.
Kind regards

Under deacon Ernest Fraser
