Syllabus

1. The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the book of Hosea- its message and meaning.

2. The student will be required to read the textbook, Hosea, James by Luther Mays, (Louisville: Westminster/John Knox), as well as the lectures. Also -- the student will be required to submit an essay at the end of the course.

3. The method of the course is simple enough: the student will read the assigned segments of the textbook, and the lectures, and will, at his or her own pace, proceede through the entire book of Hosea.

       The texbook may be purchased through Amazon.com.

ASSIGNMENT: Read Hosea in your Bible, read the lectures below, and read Hosea, James by Luther Mays. After reading everything, do the assignment at the end of chapter 14 (below).
